Mervin Steward, 77, Rt. 5, Olney died Thursday May 22, 1986 in his home.  Services in Zirkle Funeral Home with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Steward was born November 21, 1908 in Illinois, the son of Edgar and Louisa (Hyde) Steward. He married Stella Clapp March 3, 1945 in Olney.

He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church; the Ruritan Club; was associated with the ASC office for over 20 years and was a member of the Richland County Farm Bureau for over 40 years.

Survivors include his wife, Stella; a sister, Mabel Snively, Olney and several nieces and nephews, including Dale Snively, Olney.
