Tyler J. Tolliver

Tyler Joseph Tolliver, 30 of Olney, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 in rural Richland County. Tyler was born on April 14, 1991 in Madison, Wisconsin. He is the son of Stephen and Molly (Tenjum) Tolliver.

He was such a kind person. He had several different hobbies that he enjoyed doing and always loved staying busy. He loved his church and his church family and even worked as a janitor there making sure the place was clean for every event and service. He enjoyed farming and working in the garden growing corn and then grilling the corn. His favorite activity was going to dirt track races. He could always be found in the pits talking and visiting with anyone and everyone. He also spent some time working on a dairy farm and he loved animals. He enjoyed watching old TV shows like “All in the Family.” He never met a stranger and he enjoyed helping people anytime he could. He loved helping in the Mennonite Community and made many friends.

Tyler is survived by his parents Stephen and Margaret “Molly” Tolliver of Olney; aunts and uncles Carlene Karn, Ron and Betty Tolliver, Bill and Diane Tolliver, Butch and Lynn Tolliver all of Olney, Debbie and Randy Grams of Dalton, WI, Sherri and Curtis Miller of Waseca, MN, Carl and Shary Tenjum of Cottage Grove, WI, Sharyn and Doug Gamer and Jerry and Cheri Kinzler of DeForest, WI, Rose and Bill DeRocher of Deerfield, WI, Dave and Charlene Kinzler of WI; biological parents Julie and Brent Guthrie of Reedsburg, WI, several cousins and second cousins; and special friend Sydney Starks of Fairfield.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Walter and JoAnne Kinzler and Carl and Ruth Tolliver and uncle, Gary Tolliver.

Memorials can be sent to Claws & Paws in Olney in memory of Tyler Joseph Tolliver.

Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Olney. Funeral will be at 10 AM on Friday, December 31, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Olney. Burial will be at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens in Olney. Pastor Erik Hopkins will be officiating.
