Theodore M. Fahnestock, 82, a resident of Proctor Endowment Home and formerly of Hawthorne Place, died Tuesday, October 10, 1989 at St. Francis Medical Center.

Born March 15, 1907 in St. Louis to Charles and Emma Fahnestock, he married Helen B. Garber in Peoria February 9, 1935.

Surviving are his wife and one brother, Charles of Decatur.

An Army Veteran of both World War II and Korean War, he was employed by Caterpillar, Inc. for 40-1/2 years before retiring in April of 1972.

He was a member of Illinois Lodge 263 A.F. & A.M., Peoria Consistory, Mohammed Temple, Shrine, the Society of Automotive Engineers and the Peoria Seniors Golf Associates.
