Glena "June" (Tucker) Gainer, 84, of Lawrenceville, Illinois died Wednesday, January 27, 1999, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Services at the United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville. Burial in Olney City Cemetery.

Mrs. Gainer was born June 22, 1914, in Sandoval, the daughter of William Edward and Nova Alice (Clampitt) Tucker. She married Stanley K. Gainer. He preceded her in death April 5, 1968.

She worked for Golden Rule Insurance for 18 years and was a member of United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville.

She is survived by two sons, Andrew Gainer of Centralia and Bob Gainer of Baker City, Ore. one daughter, Kay Gainer of Hoboken, N.J.; and two grandchildren, Margaret Alice Barnett and Dr. Michael A. Gainer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and a sister.
