Edmund C. Shultz, 85, of Olney died Tuesday March 21, 2000 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Funeral services at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney with Rev. Father Jerry Wirth officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Shultz was born April 14, 1914 in Richland County, the son of Cleveland and Helen (Colmer) Shultz. He married Fannie Marie Cazel November 25, 1938 in Olney. She survives.

He was a retired payroll clerk from Prairie Farms in Olney and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney and Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Shultz is survived by his wife, Fannie Marie Shultz of Olney; four sons, James Shultz of Olney, Robert Shultz of Pismo Beach, Cal., Jerome Shultz and his wife, Carolyn of Albion and Thomas Shultz and his wife, Merry of Olney; two daughters, Anita Shultz of Olney and Barbara McEachen and her husband, Bob of Waco, Texas; one sister, Sister Barbara Ane Shultz of Nerrix, Kentucky; seven grandchilden, two step-grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
