Anna Louise Lee (Bean)

Anna Louise Bean, 98, of Findlay, Ohio passed away at 8:27 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Birchaven Village, Findlay. She was born on November 12, 1915, to the late Chester and Addie Harriet (Pettijohn) Lee in Clay County, IL. She married Homer Francis Bean on January 1, 1940. He preceded her in death on December 25, 2007.

Louise is survived by her son, Mark (Melissa) Bean of Dublin, OH; daughters: Mary Lee (Kermit) Haas of Green Valley, AZ, Patricia Goshorn of Montpelier, OH, and Phyllis Brusky of Columbus, OH; 12 grandchildren: Deborah Williams, Cathe Perhala, John Bean, Robert Bean, Virginia Heitbrink, Aaron Goshorn, David Goshorn, Michael Smail, Daniel Smail, Anna Kreider, Alan Brusky, and Betsy Bean; and by 12 great-grandchildren.

Louise was also preceded in death by her son, Stephen Bean; daughter, Cynthia Smail; brothers: Robert and Ronald Lee; and by sister, Claribel Benson. Louise was a homemaker and assisted her husband Homer at Homer Bean Jewelers. She was a charter member of the Alpha Theta Chapter of the Child Conservation League. She was a member of the YMCA for years and Hancock Handlebars. She was also a former member of the First Presbyterian Church, Findlay, was a Camp Fire Girl leader, and Cub Scout Den Mother. She most recently attended Dayspring Assembly of God, Bowling Green.

Funeral services at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, Pastor Patrick Cherry will officiate and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay.
