Robert Neil Beaird, 85, of Belleville, Illinois born February 11, 1914 in Claremont, Illinois died Sunday, April 25, 1999 in Memorial Hospital, Belleville.

Mr. Beaird was a retired management supervisor with Mobil Oil Refinery of East St. Louis, Illinois. He was a member of the BPO Elks Lodge 481, Belleville; a life member of the St. Clair Country Club; and a member of Signal Hill Methodist Church.

Mr. Beaird was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. and Emma (Fisher) Beaird and a brother, Alden F. Beaird.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret (Rawlings) Beaird; a son, Robert N. (Rita) Beaird Jr.; a daughter, Linda “Sue” (Phillip) Montalvo; a brother, Warren E. (Annelle) Beaird; a sister, Eleanor (John) Bryan; and two grandchildren.
