Mildred M. Coen, 81, of Olney died Thursday October 10, 1996 at her residence.  Services at First United Methodist Church in Olney with Rev. Mark Myers officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Coen was born February 24, 1915 in Olney, the daughter of James T. and Cecil (Matthew) Coen.  She was a member of First Methodist Church in Olney. She was also a member of the Retired Teachers Association. She taught music in the East Richland School District for 12 years, taught private lessons for most of her life and directed choir at the First United Methodist Church for many years.

She is survived by a cousin, Helen Coen of Olney and several second cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
