Howard Hawkins, 56, of Madison, Wisconsin, formerly of Olney, was found dead Monday night, October 5, 1970 of an apparent heart attack, at his place of employment, General Hospital in Madison.

Mr. Hawkins was the son of the late James and Lennie (Dobbs) Hawkins. He was born December 12, 1914 near Seminary and moved to Olney with his parents about 1922. He had been away from Olney for a number of years. He had been employed in Madison for several years.

His parents and a brother, Vernon, preceded him in death.

There are no surviving near relatives.

Funeral and burial services held at Madison, friends here have been advised.
