Robert D. "Bob" Berry, 89, of Olney, passed away on March 16, 2018 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. Funeral service at Trinity Lutheran Church, Olney.  Burial in Dundas Cemetery with full military rites performed at graveside.

Bob was born October 15, 1928 in Dundas, IL, son of  Lee Otis and Verna (Musgrove) Berry. He married Sally Lou Morsch on January 18, 1953 in Olney, IL. She preceded him in death on September 11, 2008.

Bob was a salesman at Musgrove Men's Wear for 36 years. He also worked at Western Southern Insurance and then worked for Pacific Cycle. Bob was a Korean War Veteran and earned the Purple Heart Service Ribbon. Bob took pleasure in being outside and working in the yard. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and served on the council. He was also a member of the Dundas Ruritan.

He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Bob loved watching sporting and community events, particularly when his children and grandchildren were involved.

He is survived by sons, Stephen Berry, Dave Berry and wife Trish, and Doug Berry, all of Olney; and Bruce Berry and wife Kelly of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Dunn of Hartsville, SC, Alex (Kendall) Berry of Lake Zurich, IL, Brandon Berry of Evansville, IN, and Blake Berry of Evansville, IN; great grandchildren, Ella Dunn, Madeline Dunn, and Piper Berry; and several nieces.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters, and infant daughter, Susan Berry.
