Kathryn "Kay" Brown, 92 of Olney passed away February 23, 2013 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Minister, Jason Burkhartt officiating.  Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Kathryn was born July 4, 1920 in Bennett, IA to Omar and Emily (Jackson) Williamson. Kay was an unselfishly loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her sole career was realized in caring for her home and family. She found a special joy in knitting, a skill passed on to her by her own mother. Kay's unique Christmas stockings are unreplaceable treasures, cherished by numerous family members and friends all across the country.

Kathryn married Robert O. Brown on September 20, 1938 in Olney, Il. He precedes her in death.

Kathryn is survived by her Son, Robert G. Brown and wife Carol of Maysville, KY.
Daughter, Lynda Wall and husband Bruce of Olney. Son, Dr. James Brown and wife Margaret Madisonville, KY. Son, Dr. Daniel Brown and wife Trudy of Olney.
Six Grandchildren, Robert G. Brown Jr, Dr. Emily Taylor, Richard A. Brown, Dr. Kimberly Hill, Kathryn E. Brown and Lara J. Price. Four Great Grandchildren, Robbie Brown, Alicia Brown, Haylee Taylor & Chesley Hill Niece, Mitzi Pape Nephews, J. R. Williamson and Gairi Williamson.

She is preceded in death by Parents, Husband, and Brother James Williamson.
