Captain Bert L. Vail, 31, died November 16, 1951 in Tokyo, Japan during the Korean War. 

Services were held at the Schaub Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Smith and Rev. H.L. Main officiating.  Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney with military honors by VFW Post 4226 and American Legion Post 30.

Capt. Vail was born August 22, 1920 in Sumner, Illinois the son of Bert L. Vail and Amanda Piper Vail.  He was in the Medical Corps during WW II in Korea.

He married Ella Mae Wemhoener in October 1948 and she survives.
