DONALD EUGENE PATTERSON SR., 82, of Wimberly, Texas passed away Sunday April 22, 2002 at his home.  Funeral services at Wimberly Presbyterian Church with Reverend Ann Beall officiating. Burial in Wimberly Cemetery.

Mr. Patterson was born on July 16, 1919 in Olney, the son of William E. and Edith (Stover) Patterson.

He was a U.S. Army Sergeant during World War II and was a member of Wimberly VFW Post 6441. He worked as a service manager for Pearson Chevrolet and Olds Auto Dealership for 32 years. He was a devoted member of Wimberly Presbyterian Church and Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Patterson is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bea Patterson of Wimberly, Texas; a son, Don Patterson Jr. of Plano, Texas; two daughters, Sandra Waldroff of Richmond, Texas and Susan Ammons of Pearland, Texas; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Dorothy Totten of Olney and Gladys Stevenson of Indiana.
