Doris "Lucille" George, 82, of Oxnard, California, formerly of Olney died March 6, 2004 at Glenwood Care Center in Oxnard, after a brief illness. She had been living in Oxnard for the past seven years.

Mrs. George was born on June 18, 1921 in Olney, the oldest daughter of Walter and Blanche Casad. She married James R. George in 1967 in Olney. He preceded her in death.

After graduating from Olney Township High School in 1938, she moved to St. Louis, Mo. where she attended Brown Business School. She worked for St. Louis Association of Credit Managements as a bookkeeper for 37 years. She retired in 1988 and moved back to Olney in 1997. She moved to Oxnard to live with her daughter, Carol.

Mrs. George is survived by a daughter, Carol Ann Davis; a daughter, Janet Kimberlin nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Simpson of Casper, Wyo.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
