Peggy S. (Young) Urban, age 50, of Bridgeport, Illinois passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022. She was born on October 16, 1971 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Young and Claudia (Cooper) Totten. She married Steve Urban on July 24, 2016, and he preceded her in death on July 4, 2021.

Peggy previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed listening to music, as well as spending time with her family and her two pets. Peggy was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved life to its fullest.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Claudia Totten; step-father, Jerry Totten; one brother, Terry Totten; and husband, Steve Urban.

Survivors include her two children, Aubry Marie Farrar and Logan (Kylie) Musgrave all of Bridgeport, Illinois; father, Robert (Rachel) Young of Xenia, Illinois; four sisters, Billie Young of Xenia, Illinois, Daisy (Harry) Smith of Bridgeport, Illinois, Ollie (Doug) Stremme of Sumner, Illinois, and Jackquie Ambrose of Olney, Illinois; two brothers, Paul (Sandy) Young of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Jerry Totten of Olney, Illinois; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 1:00 PM CDT at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Monday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM CDT at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
