OLNEY, Ill. -- Richard C. Leaf, 78, died Sept. 11, 1997 at Richland Memorial Hospital.
He retired as a policeman for the city. He was an Army veteran, a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and a life member of the Elks, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Richland County Country Club.
Surviving are his wife, Lorene (Craig); two sons, Craig of Olney and Richard of Newburgh, Ind.; three sisters, Betty Heath of Sumner, Mary Fregeau of Chicago and Barbara Stovall of Olney; three brothers, Charles of Woodard, Okla., and George and John, both of Olney; and two grandchildren, Lindsey and Katie. Services were Sunday, with private burial.
