Forrest Jackson "Jack" Gray, 82 of Claremont, died Thursday, March 11, 1999 at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  Services at Elm Street Christian Church with Minister Keith Krueger and Minister Larry Weber officiating.  Burial in Crest Haven Cemetery in Claremont.

Mr. Gray was born July 31, 1916 in Richland County, the son of Robert Lee and Lena (Vangilder) Gray.  He married Mildred Lucille Hart on March 26, 1942.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Elm Street Christian Church in Olney.  He was a lifelong member of Prairie Hall Christian Church near Claremont.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Lucille Gray of Claremont; two sons, Ron Gray and his wife, Cindy of Claremont and Wayne Gray and his wife, Janice of Claremont; four granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
