Vera H. Ratcliffe, 76, of Olney, died Tuesday Dec. 27, 1994 at her home.  Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Rev. Garin Cycholl officiating. Burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery.

Ratcliffe was born July 17, 1918 in Richland County, the daughter of Joseph and Myrtle (Nicholas) Courtright. She married David Everet Ratcliffe March 11 1936. He died Oct. 7, 1977.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Church of Christ in Olney.

She is survived by three sons, Ted Ratcliffe, of Olney, Terry Ratcliffe, of Richardson, Texas, and Bill Ratcliffe of Dallas, Texas, 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Ratcliffe was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, James.
