Denton E. "Scotty" McSpadden, 89, of New Port Richey, Florida,  formerly of Hudson, died Monday, April 21, 2003 at home. (According to the 1930 Census, Denton, his mother and brother were residents of Olney.)

Born February 23, 1914 in St. Louis, he came to Hudson in 1978 from Cincinnati.

He was a retired purchasing manager for the General Electric Company with 24 years of service. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Patricia A.; a son, Robert M., New Port Richey; a brother, Robert, Cincinnati; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
