Kathryn James (Fulford) - Class Of 1934

Kathryn James Fulford, 90 of Rockaway Beach, Missouri died Monday, December 25, 2006 at Table Rock Healthcare, Kimberling City. Funeral services at Community Presbyterian Church, Forsyth.  Burial in Swan Cemetery.

Kathryn was born March 28, 1916, the daughter of John G. and Kathryn A. (Pick) James, at Pawnee, Illinois. Kathryn James and Warren L. Fulford were married October 3, 1938 at Olney, IL. They moved to Rockaway Beach from Olney in 1961. Kathryn and Warren were owner/operator of Jack's Dock & Cafe in Rockaway Beach, the inventor of the sausage burger.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John "Jack" James; and one sister, Elizabeth Slade.

Survivors include her husband, Warren Fulford, of Kimberling City; three daughters, K. Lynne Gaston, of Rockaway Beach, Maude E. Coy, of Kimberling City, and Ann Pettenger, of Mt. Vernon; one son, Bill Fulford, of Naperville, IL; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
