Robert Lee Tucker, age 33, of 217 S. Lincoln St., passed away Tuesday morning, May 6, 1952 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
Mr. Tucker was born June 22, 1918, son of Lee Voil and Bessie Woods Tucker. Mr. Tucker, a popular Olney young man was rushed to the St. Louis hospital Monday, apparently after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.
He was a veteran of World War II, active in Olney service organizations, Past Commander of Richland County Chapter No. 63, Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Tucker was an employee of the Myers Brothers garage and auto agency.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; one son, Harry Bolton (Buddy) Tucker; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Louise Kinman and Mrs. Rosalie Stoutenberg, all of Olney. His father, the late L.V. Tucker was an employee of the Olney Post Office for many years.
Funeral services at the Schaub Funeral Home with Rev. E.C. Zetsche in charge. Interment at Haven Hill Cemetery. The Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans will have charge of the graveside rites.
