Clorine Hahn (Kistner)

Clorine (Hahn) Kistner, 107, of Olney, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Carle RMH.

Clorine was born on October 14, 1914 in Sainte Marie, Illinois, the daughter of Lee Hahn and Ella (Stark) Hahn. She married Lawrence Kistner on May 16, 1946 in Wayne, Michigan, and he preceded her in death on January 17, 2005.

Clorine worked for the Land Recording Office in the Richland County Courthouse and for Dr. William Dale, optometrist. She later moved to Michigan and worked for the recording office there. Clorine retired to Florida and returned to the Olney area about 8 years ago. Clorine graduated from the Olney Township High School in 1932. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Clorine is survived by her nieces and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Alvin Hahn; and sister-in-law, Marge Hahn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Clorine at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney, with a visitation beginning one-hour prior. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney
