Charles R. Wilson

Charles R. Wilson, 84, of Anderson, Indiana, formerly of Olney, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 1995 at Americana Healthcare Center in Anderson, Ind. Services at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Burial in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson, Ind.

Wilson was born in Olney, Jan. 18, 1911, son of Thomas and Lula (Fitch) Wilson. He married Ruby Wilson. She preceded him in death. He then married Mary C. Durack.

Mr. Wilson retired from Delco-Remy, Anderson in 1973, following 27 years of employment. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Anderson, UAW Retirement Club and the Masonic Lodge, Olney, Ill.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Beverly Webber and her husband, Bob, of Olney; two sisters, Martha Lawless, of Olney, and Alberta Reynolds, of Elmore, Okla.; and two brothers, Sam Wilson, of Salem, and Carlyle Wilson, of Long Beach, Calif.; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, two sons and one daughter.
