Gilbert Albert Rose, 61, of Wilson, N.C. passed away December 13, 1973 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Wilson. Burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson, N.C.

Gilbert was born February 19, 1912 in Parkersburg, Illinois, a son of Everett W. and Mira Smith Rose. He married Hazel Whitehurst.

He was a school teacher in the public school.
