William Eugene “Gene” Thomas, 50 years old, of Van Nuys, California passed away December 21, 1961.  He was born May 11, 1911 in Olney, Illinois son of Melville E. and Carrie E. (Shaw) Thomas.

He married Evelyn Ellis.

Gene is survived by his wife, Evelyn Thomas and two sisters, Blanche Eunice Black and Cora Faye Bunting, both of Olney, Illinois.
