Bernice Celestine Williamson, 86, of Olney, died Saturday, July 25, 1998, at Burgin Manor Nursing Home.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney, with Minister Dan Mast officiating. Burial in Dundas Cemetery.

Williamson was born July 19, 1912, in Richland County, the daughter of C. O. and Lottie (Bauman) Scherer. She married Harold Williamson June 6, 1936.

She was a retired school teacher. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Gilead Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years, and a member of Richland County Home Extension.

She is survived by her husband, of Olney; one daughter Sheryl Charleston and her husband, Roger, of Olney; three grandchildren, Kristin Snyder and her husband, Ken, of Newton, Heather Ingram and her husband, Scott, of Olney, and Jennifer Charleston, of Olney; and one great-grandchild, Rachel Snyder.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
