Lucile Pennington, 73, 108 W. Elm, Olney was found dead in her home at 3:45 p.m. Monday, November 15, 1983.   Services at Summers Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Pabarcus and Rev. LeRoy Pittman presiding. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Pennington was born May 12, 1910 in Richland County, the daughter of Elmer and Lora (Mitchell) Marlowe. She married Lester Pennington November 30, 1933 and he preceded her in death December 19, 1959.

She was a retired employee of Richland Memorial Hospital  and was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Tommie (Eleanor) Smith, Florissant, Mo.; two grandchildren, Deborah Lynn Pabarcus, Florissant and Douglas Neal Smith; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a sister, Dorotha Short.
