Bertha Iaggi (Hahn)

Mrs. Bertha L. Hahn, L.P.N., age 64, of Rt. 1, Olney passed away yesterday afternoon, February 13, 1975 at the Richland Memorial Hospital following a long period of ill health.

Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Olney with the Rev. Fr. Donald Eichenseer the Celebrant. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Mrs. Hahn was a native of Richland County and was the daughter of Edward Iaggi and Sophia VonAlmen Iaggi. She was married to Otto Hahn on May 20 1932 at Olney. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Olney.

She had devoted most of her life time to the care of the sick and had been employed at the Olney Sanitarium, the Richland Memorial Hospital for 24 years and at the Newton Rest Haven Nursing Center for about 8 years. She had furthered her knowledge in nursing care and had become a Licensed Practical Nurse.

She leaves her husband, Otto, and the following children: Mrs. Bill (Cathy) Combs, Mrs. Al (Marjorie) Piercefield and Mrs. Leon (Celestine) Hough all of Olney, Mrs. Huey (Jane) Brummitt of Winfield, Ala., Mrs. Dean (Sylvia) McCann of Columbia, Mo., Mrs. Paul (Phyllis) Rusk of San Antonio, Texas and Mrs. Bill (Patty) Murphy of Kenwick, Wash. There are 24 grandchildren. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Anna Jones of Olney and a brother, Carl Iaggi of Fontana, Calif.

She has been preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Herbert, Christian, Urban and Ralph Iaggi.
