Ethel J. Hazel, 84, of Noble, died Saturday February 24, 1996 at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Jerry Cowman officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Memorial Garden in Olney.

Hazel was born June 18, 1911 in Richland County, the daughter of Fred and Maddie (Phillips) Correll.  She married Lawrence Hazel February 15, 1936.

She was a retired homemaker and a member of Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church.  She was also a member of the Noble American Legion Auxiliary and Merry Matrons Home Extension.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence of Noble; a son, Jim Hazel and his wife, Sue of Noble; three sisters-in-law; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
