Deborah L. (Fleming) Lester, age 44, of Wheeler, Illinois, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.

Deborah Louise was born on November 18, 1976 in Olney, Illinois the daughter of Karl Alden and Marjorie Ann (Fritter) Fleming.  She married Joshua E. Lester and to this union one child, Samuel Alden Fleming Lester was born.

Deborah was a 1996 graduate of Richland County High School.  She worked as a paralegal, CNA and most recently as a security guard.  She enjoyed reading, cooking and watching TV especially Gordon Ramsey and she loved playing cards with her mother-in-law.

She is survived by her husband, Joshua E. Lester of Wheeler, Illinois; mother-in-law, Rose Dalene Lester of Wheeler; brothers-in-law, John Lester, Jakoda Lester and Jakya Lester all of Wheeler, IL; several nieces and nieces and her beloved Daschshund, Malcom.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois.
