Rebecca Ann "Becky" Mehl, 44, of Olney died Sunday June 9, 2002 in Fairfield.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Pastor Oren Mulvany officiating.

Mrs. Mehl was born on May 11, 1958 in Olney, the daughter of Charles and Juanita (Peer) Leaf. She married Steven Mehl on January 17, 1975. He survives.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Mehl is survived by her husband, Steven Mehl of Olney; her father, Charles Leaf of Woodward, Okla.; her mother, Juanita Leaf of Weatherford, Texas; two daughters, Amy Melvin and her husband, Joe of Vincennes, Ind. and Anne Mehl of Olney; a son, Steven Michael Mehl of Olney; maternal grandmother, Mary Peer; a sister, Vivian Orr of Weatherford, Texas; a brother, Michael Leaf of Olney and a grandson, Josh.
