Barbara Ann German, 46, of Tampa, Fla., died unexpectedly Monday, February 8, 2010, after a brief illness.  Visitation at Gonzalez Funeral Home in Tampa, Fla.

Mrs. German was born May 31, 1963, in Olney. She attended Olney public schools, graduating from East Richland High School with the Class of 1981.

She was kitchen manager at a local Tampa McDonald's, being a loyal employee for 16 years.

Mrs. German is survived by her husband, Gerald; daughter, Amanda (Ben) Cruz; grandchildren, Matthew, Breanna and Samantha; parents, Norman and Sharon Payne; sisters, Janet Payne and Debby Harmon; four nephews; one great-nephew and one great-niece; all from Tampa.

Barbara loved spending time with her family, friends and co-workers at McDonald's and was a country music fan.

Among those in attendance are Michael German, of Tampa, and Carrel German, of Olney.
