Brandon S. Allard, 37, of Chillicothe, IL, formerly of Olney, died Sunday, November 20, 2016 in Peoria, IL.  Services at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home, Olney.

Brandon was born on September 29, 1979 in Olney, IL, the son of Terry Allard and Anne (Cummins) Travers. He attended East Richland High School in Olney, graduating with the Class of 1997. He then graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Systems Technology focused in biomedical technology.  His most current employment was with Unity Point in Peoria, having formerly worked at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.  He lived in the Peoria, IL area and enjoyed being around his family and friends and listening to music. Brandon had a great sense of humor and a unique talent for writing. He had a hidden creative talent of sketching and drawing.

Brandon is survived by his father, Terry Allard and wife Patti of Nashville, TN; aunt, Deb Stegall of Chillicothe, IL; aunt, Machelle Settles and husband Eric of Urbana, IL; paternal grandmother, Nancy Allard of Olney; mother, Anne Travers and husband Randal of Olney; stepbrothers, Todd Jackson, Tony Jackson, and Logan Travers; aunts and uncles, Don and Deb Pearsall, Doug and Cindy Charles, and Mick and Pam Cummins; and cousins, Izik and Malachi Settles, Heather Pearsall Starbird, Eric Pearsall, Samantha Charles, Hailey Cummins Stallings, Trent Cummins, Lucas Cummins, William Koon Cummins, Alyssa Cummins Carie, and Matthew Cummins.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Dave Stegall, aunt and uncle, Craig and Kathy Cummins, paternal grandfather, Jack Allard, and maternal grandparents, Frank and Josephine Cummins.
