Alva Harold Cox, 84, of Petersburg, Indiana passed away January 3, 2016. He was born February 24, 1931 in West Virginia, the son of Alva H. and Mamie (Ford) Cox.

He was a retired coal miner from Old Ben Coal Company and served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by daughters, Chella Stenftenagel, Katherine Racso and Cynthia Grabel.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Colleen Willis.

Graveside services private at Walnut Hills Cemetery, Petersburg, IN.
