Betty L. Yoswig, 72, of Springfield, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002, at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born May 31, 1930, in Sumner, the daughter of Ansel and Nettie Ulrich Roberts. She married Robert W. Yoswig in Springfield in 1960.

Mrs. Yoswig, a homemaker, was employed by the Department of Transportation. She was a member of Calvary Temple Church, retired Eagles Activity Club FOE Aerie 437, Polka Cub and Dank German Club in Decatur.

Survivors: husband, Robert W.; three sons, Jeffrey (wife, Teresa) and William Yoswig, both of Springfield, and Gary Yoswig of Atlanta, Ga.; two grandsons; a brother, Harold (wife, Virginia) Roberts of Bridgeport; a sister, Helen (husband, Craig) Harmon of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.

Services at Calvary Temple Church, the Rev. Mark Johnson officiating. Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery.
