Henry Crosby

Henry O. Crosby, 62, of Decatur died Tuesday Dec. 22 1992 in his residence.  Services in Brintlinger's Funeral Home. Burial in Boiling Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Crosby was born Oct. 12, 1930 in Olney, the son of Otis and Ethel Holtz Crosby.

He was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church. He was currently vice president of the Decatur Men's Bowling Association, a member of Moose Lodge 684 and a past member of Teamsters Local 279. Mr. Crosby worked for General Transfer Trucking Co. as a shop foreman and was formerly employed at Staley Express.

He married Mary Monroe in 1976. Surviving are his wife; sons, Charlie and wife Jennifer Crosby, Darryl and wife Marcy Crosby and Dennis Crosby, all of Decatur; daughters, Karen Franklin of Independence, Mo.; Sharon Jackson and husband Dave of Mount Zion; Pam Scarlett of Salem; Melody Probus and husband Jeff of Sullivan; stepdaughter Lorraine "Lori" Wells of Decatur; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
