Virginia Lee Taylor, 68, of Noble, died Saturday July 3, 1997 at her residence. Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Noble with Rev. Glenn Fehrenbacher officiating. Burial in North Freedom Cemetery in rural Noble.

Mrs. Taylor was born June 20, 1929 in Richland County, the daughter of William and Beulah (Peer) Conour. She married Dean Taylor on April 12, 1958.

She was a homemaker and a member of the North Freedom Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of Noble; mother, of Olney; four sons, Michael and wife, Susan of Mattoon, Tim and wife, Tracey of Olney, Jeff and wife, Charlotte of Noble and Greg and wife, Jennifer of Olney; two daughters, Vicky Taylor at home and Deanna Miller and husband, Brian of Noble; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.
