Alice Gerber (Fisher)

Alice R. Fisher, 57, Sumner, died at 3:45 a.m. Saturday January 3, 1987 in Richland Memorial Hospital.  Services held at Sivert Funeral Home in Sumner with Rev. Fred White presiding. Burial in Crest Haven Cemetery.

Mrs. Fisher was born April 8, 1929 in Olney, the daughter of William and Elva (Fritschle) Gerber.  She first married Arkie Cessna and he died in 1967.  She then married Clarence Fisher in 1971.

She had been employed by Golden Rule Insurance.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sumner.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence; three daughters, Connie McVicker, Janet Snyder and Nancy Snyder all of Olney; four brothers, Paul Gerber, Leesburg, Fla.; Loren Gerber, Leroy Gerber and Ray Gerber all of Olney; her mother, Elva Gerber; two sisters, Lucille Kincaid, Claremont; Thelma Schwartz, Noble; and six grandchildren.
