Harold E. Brown, 55, New Palestine, Indiana died Saturday afternoon March 16, 1985 in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Services at the Hendryx Mortuary in New Palestine with Rev. Walter Neal presiding. Burial in Washington Park East Cemetery.

Mr. Brown was born in Fairbury, June 22, 1929, the son of Clifford and Lucy (Linder) Brown.  He married Dolores Rodgers and she survives.

He had been an accountant for Ford Motor Company since 1955 and was a member of the New Palestine United Methodist Church.  He was a World War II Army veteran.

Other survivors include a son, Dennis H., Greensburg, Ind.; a daughter, Lisa D. Stapp, Indianapolis, Ind.; a brother, Robert Brown, Olney; a sister, Mrs. William (Patricia) Botner, Tampa, Fla.; his mother, Lucy Brown, Olney and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.
