Mary Kathryn (Walters) Lane, 94, of Anderson, Indiana passed away on February 23, 2022, at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Health Care, Anderson. She was born on October 10, 1927, in Olney, IL, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Maude (Nesler) Walters.

Mary had received a degree in bookkeeping at the Indiana Business College. She was a member of the Business Women's Association of Anderson.

Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Carole "Candy" Chambers (Keith Stuffel) and daughter, Cynthia (Thomas) Kirk; 4 grandchildren and 1 step-grandchild; 5 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Lane; seven sisters, Nora E. Bullock, Dollie M. Gallagher, Edna P. Weedman, Daisy C. Walters, Lillian J. Powers, Bertha M. Moore and Anna L. Surber; three brothers, Robert L. Walters, Jesse A. Walters and George A. Walters.

Cremation was chosen and there were no visitation or services.
