Robert Hostettler, 55, 311 North Jackson, died Wednesday December 3, 1980 at Richland Memorial Hospital. Services at Zirkle Funeral Home with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

He was born in Olney October 30, 1925 to Earl and Nettie (Lewis) Hostettler. He served in the military service from 1944 to 1980, including the Merchant Marine and the Army. He was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.

Mr. Hostettler is survived by two brothers, Gene of Evansville, Ind. and Roy of Bloomington, Il.; four sisters, Aleen Hostettler, Olney, Mrs. Dallas (Barbara) Beyer, Decatur, Mrs. Andrew (Georgia) Bishop, Wenona and Mrs. Orville (Marjorie) West, Peoria; and several nieces and nephews.
