
Deborah Lynn (Tibbs) Rauch, age 60, of Olney, passed away from her battle with ALS on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at home with her loving family by her side. Debbie was born on August 13, 1964 in Olney, the daughter of Dale and Mary Jane (Kessler) Tibbs. She married Tom Rauch on August 29, 1987 in Olney. He survives.
Debbie was a true woman of God. She had a strong faith in the Lord and trusted His will.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids, traveling with her husband, Tom, going to the beach, and most of all, she loved to bake.
Debbie always had a smile to share. She was a kind and gentle woman who had the best advice, usually based upon her strong faith. She went out of her way to help others. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, thoughtful sister, and a caring friend to all.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Rauch of Olney; Four daughters, Erin Rauch-Gallagher (Jason) of Olney; Sarah (Cody) Crane of Olney; Taylor Rauch (Phil Britton) of Parkersburg; and Abigail (Braden) McNeely of Flora; Parents; Four sisters and one brother, Cindy (Bruce) Peters of Olney, Janice (Paul) Pampe of Parkersburg, Steve (Jennifer) Tibbs of Olney, LaDonna (Steve) Kuenstler of Olney, Wendy Kuhl (fiancée Scott Cook) of Lenexa, KS; Seven grandchildren, Elena, Jayden & Emma June Gallagher, Elliott Dobbs, Amelia Crane, and Riley and Bennett McNeely; Three sisters-in-law; JoAnn (Gary) Ernest of Claremont, Diane (Jeff) Hazel of Mason, OH, and Marcia (Jeff) Enlow of Olney; brother-in-law; Mike Rauch of Olney; father-in-law, James Rauch of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Glen Tibbs and Gladys (Burt) Tibbs; maternal grandparents, Leo and Hilda (Reis) Kessler; mother-in-law, Mary (Burbank) Rauch; and brother-in-law, Danny Derler.
In accordance with Deborah's wishes and to further research and promote the development of treatments for ALS, Deborah's body was donated to Science Care.
A visitation for Deborah will be held from 9:00-10:30 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 10:30 AM.
