Diana S. "Diane" Wood, 59, of Decatur, Friday February 18, 2005.  Burial in Northfork Cemetery in Decatur, Illinois.

Mrs. Wood was born October 31, 1945 in Olney, the daughter of Charles I. and Wanita J. (Winsor) Martin. She married Donald C. Wood on May 29, 1970 in Olney. He preceded her in death on January 22, 1997.

She was a secretary for Illinois Department of Corrections, retiring in August of 2002. She was a former member of Elm Street Christian Church in Olney and Mt. Zion Christian Church in Mt. Zion.

Mrs. Wood is survived by a son, William C. Wood and his wife, Rose of Decatur; her mother, Wanita J. Martin of Olney; a sister, Sally Siesky and her husband, Larry of Evansville, Ind.; a brother, George Martin and his wife, Kathy of Olney; a niece and nephew and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, husband, a son, Brian Michael Wood and a nephew.
