Carol Sue Travis, 63, of Olney, died  January 30, 2007, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham.  Burial in Crest Haven Cemetery in rural Claremont.

Mrs. Travis was born December 25, 1943, in Richland County, the daughter of Abram Ray and Nellie Viola(Lawson) Struble. She married Jerry Travis on February 23, 1964. He survives.

She was a member of Olney Southern Baptist Church. She worked as an inspector at International Shoe Factory. She was a member of Curves.

Mrs. Travis is survived by her husband, Jerry Travis, of Olney; son, Kerry Allen Travis and his wife, Janis and their children, Carley Kerice and Camryn Page, of Oblong; son, Rodney Lee Travis and his wife, Janilyn, and their children, Connor Levi and Chase Andrew, of Dundas; brother, Abe Struble and his wife, Phyllis, of Olney; sister, Donna Runyon and her husband, Larry, of Olney; aunt, Louella Halluin, of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Curves.
