Paul A. Stanclift, 57, Lawrenceville, Illinois died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002, at his home.

Born Feb. 22, 1945, in Olney, he was the son of Lee and Hilda (Curry) Stanclift.

He was a retired postmaster, serving the Bridgeport, Sumner, and Allendale post offices. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Olney Lutheran Church, Sumner Masonic Lodge, and the Hutsonville American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Linda (Stevens) Stanclift, whom he married May 21, 1965, in Olney; two daughters, Micki Christiansen of Mount Pleasant, Mich., and Paula Snow of Lawrenceville; her mother and stepfather, Hilda and L.D. Robbins of Olney; and a granddaughter.

A memorial service held at Smith Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.
