Philip J. Rohr, 46, of Mt. Vernon, formerly of Olney died Thursday February 4, 1999 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.  Services at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Melvin Vandeloo officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon.

Mr. Rohr was born December 5, 1952 in Decatur, the son of Gerald J. and Vera Pauline Travers Rohr. He married Jane Manson October 21, 1982 in Mt. Vernon.

He was employed at World Press in Salem as a corporate materials repairs operating manager. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Rohr of Mt. Vernon; one son, Craig Rohr of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Sara Jane Rohr of Mt Vernon; parents, Gerald and Pauline Rohr of Olney; two brothers, Terry Rohr and his wife, Phyllis of Haubstadt, Ind. and Timothy Rohr of Centralia; one sister, Joyce Toombs and her husband, Jerry of Wood River and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
