Alice Marie (Gruneisen) Wicker, 99, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Redbanks Nursing Home with her family at her side.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a faithful member of Smith Mills United Methodist Church.  Alice was a loving and compassionate wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.  Many of her friends included her as part of their family as well.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Cleatus W. Wicker; her parents, John and Lula (Webber) Gruneisen; two brothers, Norman Gruneisen and Harold Gruneisen; and two daughter-in-laws, Betty Jane Wicker and Peggie L. Wicker.

Survivors include three children, Dennis Wicker and his wife, Judy, of Henderson, Kentucky, Judi Abbott and her husband, Tommy, of Lexington, South Carolina, and William “Gene” Wicker and his companion, Pat Bell, of Sun City, Arizona; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
