Harry Foust

William Harry Foust, 51, of Dundas was pronounced dead on arrival at the Richland Memorial Hospital Tuesday afternoon, November 21, 1972.

Mr. Foust was born August 14, 1921 near Oblong, Ill., the son of Rolla and Ethel Lamkin Foust. He was united in marriage to Netha Brown, November 28, 1946 in Olney.

Shortly after returning from a tour of duty in the U.S. Army during World War II, he was employed by the Richland County Highway Dept. and had worked 22 years; having served the longest length of time of any County employee.

He was a member of the Dundas United Methodist Church; Dundas Ruritan Club; Olney Memorial Post #4226; Veterans of Foreign Wars and Richland Post #30 American Legion.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Pat Foust of Dundas, one daughter, Val at home, his mother, Mrs. Ethel Foust of Dundas, one brother, Robert of Ohio, two nieces and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rolla "Jack" in April of 1971, and an infant brother.

Funeral services in the Chapel of Zirkle Mortuary with Brother Havard Dasch officiating. Interment in the Dundas Cemetery.
