Iva May (Spieth) Robinson, 87, of Winter Haven, Fla., died unexpectedly at Winter Haven Hospital on March 31, 2011.  Funeral services at First Presbyterian Church of Lake Alfred, Fla. Burial in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Auburndale, Fla.

Mrs. Robinson was born September 3, 1923, in Olney, the daughter of Fredrick Spieth and Angeline (Towne) Spieth Thompson. She married Robert A. Robinson on October 29, 1950. She was part owner/operator of Spieth Photography Studio for several years as a professional photographer and oil painter and later worked for the State of Illinois, Department of Unemployment in Olney.

Mrs. Robinson's hobbies included photography, artistic painting, fishing, bowling, golfing and quilting. She graduated from East Richland High School in 1941 and briefly attended Asbury College. She and her husband were residents of Winter Haven, Fla., since 1986.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband, Robert A. Robinson; son and daughter-in-law, Kim and Lynne Robinson, of Springfield; son and daughter-in-law, Rix and Fran Robinson, of Ogden, Utah; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick Spieth and Angeline (Towne) Thompson; and brothers, Fred Spieth, Jr. and James Spieth.
