Mary Ellen (Shearer) Van Blaricum, age 95, of Santa Barbara, California passed away March 9, 2019. She was born in Illinois August 11, 1923 daughter of Ben F. and Dessie (Everette) Shearer. She married Glenn F. Van Blaricum July 16, 1942 in St. Charles, MO. and he preceded her in death in 2015.

She is survived by two sons, Glenn F. Van Blaricum and wife, Claire and Michael L. Van Blaricum and wife, Pamela; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and sister, LaVaughn Crum.

Mrs. Van Blaricum is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Elmo L. Shearer, Walter E. Shearer and Thomas F. Shearer; and sisters, Frances L. Blakney, Eunice L. Miller, Bertie G. Simons and June M. Childress.

Services held in Illinois. Her body was cremated with burial of cremains in Green Hill Cemetery, Noble, Illinois.
